PASTORAL CARE MINISTRY

The Anchor Wesleyan Methodist Church’s ‘Pastoral Care’ ministry covers varieties of services dealing with members’ spiritual health and nourishment. This ministry focuses primarily on spiritual support services like prayer and counselling, home Bible study and visitations, visitations in hospitals or prisons, end of life care, bereavement care and memorial services.
 

Other related services are conducted to help the congregation develop an intimate relationship to Christ and His Church. These services include the proclamation of the Word, worship and prayer meetings, administration of sacraments, Sunday school and membership classes, age-level ministries and other special events.
 

A Pastoral Care team is committed to serve in this ministry headed by the Pastor.
